The Vaginal Rejuvenation Procedure

Back to AllVaginal and perineal relaxation resulting in decreased sensation during coitus (intercourse) is treated by Vaginal Rejuvenation surgery. Vaginal Rejuvenation does not treat vaginal prolapse. The typical steps of this procedure are as follows:
- The redundancy in the posterior vagina is removed.
- The pelvic floor muscles are exposed at the relaxed perineal body.
- The perineal body is reconstructed as the normal attachments of the pelvic floor muscles at the perineal body are reestablished resulting in normal vaginal anatomy and a normal perineal body.
